Why Brand New Cars Need an Independent PDI
In India, brand new automobiles travel thousands of kilometers on open double-decker transport trailers over rough national highways before reaching dealership stockyards. During this journey and subsequent yard storage, vehicles are exposed to transit accidents, road debris, monsoon flooding, and rough handling by trailer drivers.
